The performance joins together dance theatre and baroque music. Movement is created on the basis of rules governing baroque music: simultaneous improvisation (basso continuo) and subordination to the rhythm. These rules influence the dancers, who first follow them, only to later break, and at the end, ignore them completely.
What makes baroque music fascinating and exceptional is that it evokes intensive emotions, at the same time being characterised by mathematical precision. The artists make an attempt to achieve the same goal – create an action that awakens emotions.
