As stories in which anything is possible, fairy-tales tend to be sorrowful and cruel. What kind of person makes up such stories? What takes place inside the mind of an immature genius who dwells on his memories and loses himself in consecutive hallucinations? If I were to imagine Hans Christian Andersen, he would look as depicted by Robert Jarosz in Śnieży: an infantile man talking to the figments of his imagination, writing stories of a land of ice, or as if from the moon. Szron/Frost is a collage piece which takes the audience on a trip to the drowsy, absurd fairground.
