The piece utilizes the formula of collective dance theatre based on relations and intentions emerging between dancers, with no linear narration. Beyond the Horizon is marked by intense physicality and expression of movement, inspired by contemporary dance techniques and styles.

The Kielce Dance Theatre was established in 1995 on the basis of the artistic achievements of Elżbieta Szlufik-Pańtak’s private company. Since 2004, the company has operated as a municipal cultural institution. The pieces produced by the Kielce Dance Theatre are based on jazz and contemporary dance. The company collaborates with choreographers and takes part in co-productions with other institutions. Its work has been presented nationwide and internationally.
