Stalking Paradise was developed in collaboration with the Institute of Music and Dance as part of the Choreographic Commissions 2014 programme.
Stalking Paradise was created by a Norwegian-Estonian duet of choreographers: Külli Roosna and Kenneth Flak. In the performance, the Lublin Dance Theatre dancers seek the answer to questions concerning faith. What do we believe in? Why do we believe in what we do? Various elements of faith, such as dogmatism, instability, change, stability or adaptation, are analysed not only through movement, but also through sound and text. What do we base our decisions on?
The Lublin Dance Theatre was initiated in 2001 at by choreographer Hanna Strzemiecka, and Anna Żak, Ryszard Kalinowski and Wojciech Kaproń, the-then dancers of the Contemporary Dance Group affiliated with the Lublin University of Technology. In the subsequent years, the company was joined by Beata Mysiak, Anna Kalita and Konrad Kurowski. The Lublin Dance Theatre is based at the Centre for Culture in Lublin.
