Anna Piotrowska’s piece is an attempt to explore motivations which enable the extraction of hidden levels of energy. After all, creating oneself anew takes place through new, previously unknown levels of one’s personality, which are not always clear. Inspirations with cults practices as a means to seek supernatural power and relate to it constitute the main thread of the performance. Fraught with a distant echo of the gods and goddesses of the ancient pantheon, the notion of divinity is transposed to present-day reality.
