Performative choreography Perfect Humans is based on Jørgen Leth’s film Perfect Human from 1967. The work with the performer’s body and intention adapts Leth, who can transform fascination with a single detail into a genre universalism. Miller consciously translates the film language into the theatre language in order to make the intimacy of the actor’s and the creator’s meeting tangible. This meeting is provided with an additional element: the viewer who is an intermediary in this encounter. In the performance, ten dancers are placed in an unmarked space, where every gesture, call, request or clue are at the audience’s disposal. Viewers themselves need to assume some approach to space, person and action.
