Six years after the premiere of Audition VI4, Kaya Kołodziejczyk took on the task of producing the next part of Andrzej Krzanowski’s vocal/instrumental/performative cycle, so far not staged. This lengthy project had been preceded by research on avant-garde music and theatre of the 1960s and 1970s, which had considerable influence on choreography. Performance Audition V – 2016 is a performative installation, an - opera in motion with elements of video and voice to texts by Jacek Bieriezin, Zbigniew Dolecki and Sławomir Mrożek, where the dancers, music composition, scenography and visual elements are treated as equal elements.
